The Master of Natural Hazards & Disasters (MNHD) program brings together expertise from the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific and the ANU College of Physical & Mathematical Sciences, to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to the study of natural hazards and disasters.

This Master program naturally addresses the clear need to help communities and influence policy makers in the Asia-Pacific region, as economic activities and everyday life are regularly disrupted by natural hazards and disaster events such as typhoons, floods, storm surges, volcanic eruptions, landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis, bushfires and many others.
